Platform
api, cli, serverless, jupyter, ssh, persistent_volumes · SDK : — · Terraform : official (claimed on homepage · no provider documentation found on docs.sesterce.com) · Kubernetes : yes (Sesterce OS for contract clusters, 'Slurm & Kubernetes native') · no managed Kubernetes in the self-serve console · interconnexion : NVLink on some 8x A100 SXM4 console offers · AI-factory clusters: non-blocking InfiniBand Quantum at 800 Gb/s (homepage) · clusters : Console Clusters page takes requests ('Book highly configured nodes and clusters for the period you need') · AI-factory capacity by contract (8-64 GPUs reserved, 64-512 pods, 512+ multi-MW, co-location) through a sales form. No public cluster prices.
Storage
ephemeral · included in the instance price · Each offer shows a fixed non-persistent storage size (128 GB to 20,480 GB in the offers read); docs warn pod storage is non-persistent.volume · not published · Persistent volumes (minimum 10 GB per the API schema) exist only in some regions/availability zones and must be attached at launch. The API reference example shows a field pricePerGbPerHour with example value 0.0001; this is sample data, not a published price.
Migration out
Instance disks are non-persistent; data on persistent volumes can be copied out over SSH before deletion. No volume export, snapshot or image-export feature is documented. Custom images are not documented; workloads run on standard OS images or public Docker images (vLLM, PyTorch, etc.), so leaving means re-creating VMs elsewhere and copying data over the network.

Sesterce Cloud, in short

What stood out when we read the documents: strengths, weaknesses, who it suits, and what we could not find.

Strengths

  • Wide self-serve catalogue: 17 GPU models bookable in the public console on 2026-09-29, from RTX A4000 to A100 SXM 80GB, in 1x to 10x VM configurations.
  • Some low entry prices in the console: RTX A4000 at 0.17 USD/h (NOR-Oslo-1), RTX A6000 at 0.63 USD/h, L40S and L40 at 0.97 USD/h.
  • Offer list, per-region prices, RAM, vCPU, disk, form factor and NVLink status are visible without an account.
  • Operates French AI-factory sites (Valence, Paris at Equinix) and a 1 GW Bosquel project with SoftBank; claims SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, HDS and a 99.99% cluster SLA for contract customers.
  • Bank transfer, Google Pay, Cash App Pay and Link in addition to cards; auto top-up option.
  • Inference product with autoscaling endpoints, and an API covering instances, SSH keys, volumes and inference.

Weaknesses

  • No crypto payment method is documented.
  • No H100 SXM, H200, B200 or B300 offer was bookable in the console during the check although the homepage advertises them with prices; the only H100 offers were PCIe at 3.00 to 6.59 USD/h.
  • Prices differ between the homepage widgets, the console ticker, the console offers and the docs table (H100: 1.66 and 1.83 on the homepage, 2.48 in docs, 3.00 to 6.59 in the console).
  • Offers are volatile: the lowest listed H100 offer moved from 4.72 to 2.75 to 3.00 USD/h and the RTX 4090 offer disappeared within about 20 minutes.
  • Most console regions (e.g. USA-NewYork-1, NOR-Oslo-1, IND-Bangalore-1, ISR-Jerusalem-1) are outside Sesterce's own French sites; the operator behind each region is not disclosed.
  • Persistent volume price, egress and IPv4 policy are not published; volumes exist only in some regions and must be attached at launch.
  • Docs say that when the balance reaches 0, instances are stopped and storage volumes deleted.
  • The Spot Offer and Bare-Metal filters returned no offers; docs say only on-demand pricing exists.
  • Customer docs show 'Last updated 1 year ago'; several Trust-page links (SLA, DPA, sub-processors, status page) are inactive and status.sesterce.com did not resolve.

Ideal for

  • European enterprises and public-sector buyers seeking contract GPU capacity in French AI factories with SOC 2/ISO/HDS claims.
  • Users who want to compare many mid-range GPU offers (A100, L40S, RTX A6000, RTX A4000) in one console and pay by card or bank transfer.

Not published

  • Founding year and funding amounts: not stated on the pages read.
  • Persistent volume price, egress price, IPv4 policy, minimum top-up and free credits: not published.
  • Billing of stopped instances: not documented.
  • Whether VAT is added to console prices: not stated.
  • Identity or KYC checks at sign-up or top-up: not documented.
  • Which operator runs each console region (e.g. USA-NewYork-1, CAN-Montreal-2): not disclosed.
  • SOC 2 report type (Type I or II): not stated
  • certificates and SLA text were not accessible (links inactive).
  • CLI and Terraform provider: claimed on the homepage but no documentation found on docs.sesterce.com.
  • Prices for reserved capacity, clusters, AI-factory pods and inference endpoints: not published.
  • Mode of the homepage CLI-section prices (B200 4.50, H200 2.25, H100 1.66, A100 1.24): not stated, so not recorded as price rows.
  • H100 SXM on-demand price: no bookable H100 SXM offer in the console
  • the homepage 1.83 'from' price does not say SXM or PCIe.
  • VRAM of B300, B200 and H200 as offered: not stated on the homepage widget.

Observations

The registry pricing URL www.sesterce.com/pricing returns 404; 'Pricing' in the navigation is an anchor (#pricing) on the homepage, and cloud.sesterce.com/pricing also returns 404.

The homepage shows two different price blocks: a CLI section with B200 4.50, H200 2.25, H100 1.66, A100 1.24 USD per GPU-hour (mode not stated; the section mentions on-demand, reserved and spot), and a 'LIVE OFFERS ... ON-DEMAND, CACHED 5M' table with B300 4.95, B200 4.11, H200 2.48, H100 1.83, A100 1.49, L40S 0.76 'from / GPU / hr' plus availability counts.

cloud.sesterce.com/compute is public: a scrolling price ticker per GPU model with a change indicator, then a 'GPUs available' table (GPU x count, vRAM, vCPU, RAM, region flags, 'Cost From' per instance-hour). Clicking a row opens a per-region offer list and a checkout panel with vCPU, RAM, storage, form factor, NVLink and total per hour, all without login.

Console prices are per instance-hour, not per GPU; multi-GPU prices must be divided by the GPU count.

The ticker price for a model changed between page loads (H100 3.00 then 6.59 USD/h; A4000 0.88 then 0.17 USD/h).

docs.sesterce.com shows an older price table (B200 6.05, H200 3.58, H100 2.48, A100 80G 1.65, A100 1.29, A6000 0.57, RTX4090 0.66, L40s 1.10, L40 0.99, A5000 0.41, RTX6000Ada 0.97 USD/h) that does not match the console.

The console's Spot Offer and Bare-Metal filters exist but returned an empty list on 2026-09-29.

Sign-up is a button in the console sidebar; no KYC or identity step is described in the docs.

The Trust page (www.sesterce.com/trust) is not linked from the homepage footer; its SLA, DPA, sub-processor, whitepaper and status links point to '#'.
